Forge DV ?

I've searched and forgive the ignorance... I installed a Forge DV this past weekend and want to make sure it was installed correctly. I've heard that it can be installed in reverse... does this mean the opening that is sealed with the metal "piston" should point into the intercooler hose and the opening where you can see the lubricating grease and piston should point into the hose going back into the air box or should it be installed the other way or does it really matter? Thanks for the info.

cool thanks for the info.... the whole DV thing has always confused me...

to boot will have to flip mine as I put it in the oppisite way.

any spring recomendations? The car is stock and the green spring is currentl in the DV?
