Found Oil Around Spark PLUGS ???

Default Found Oil Around Spark PLUGS ???

While checking the spark plugs on a Audi A4 B5 1999 1.8 20V petrol i found oil around the holes of the spark plugs is that a problem or should i lokk further into it any help thanks???

Leaking valve cover gaskets. Very common, DD.

next owner added ~50k miles

From experience, the leakage is often caused by overpressure under the valve covers and this is related to clogged breather tubes. The culprit is often the valve referred to as a suction pump. It's a cheap ($14) part that should be replaced when you do the valve cover and cam gaskets. There are myriad writeups regarding this service on the site.
