And Jag is Ford's too, so who cares? The industry is all about massive conglomerates.
Their products haven't suffered, and that's what matters. Good cars.

NO WAY... VW is HUGE, this could NOT happen... IM SCARED
|
VW is one of the biggest makers in the world, this ain't going to happen
|
Ha, yeah right! Every review I've read on the new Jags...
has commented on the "cheapness" in quality on the interior treatments of the new Jags.
Have YOU driven a Ford lately? |
What are you talking about? Ford has done so much for Jag. Read any article about the new x-type.
|
What articles are you reading?...
a comment or two on a handful of similar interior pieces does not turn a Jag into a Ford. If you don't want to drive a car whose parent company is owned by a a US manufacturer, then you'd better start working out, because in a few years you may be riding a bike.
|
Doubt it...with the way the American car manufacturers have been tanking recently...
and the European car companies seeing their sales soaring, it'll probably be the other way around. Look at how Chrysler is draging Diamler into the red! I don't think it'll be long before they cut their loses and cut Chrysler loose.
I'm sure VW will take their mistake into account, and not allow any car manufacturer to ruin them like that. The most recent comments I hear on the new Jags was on Car and Driver TV and MotorWeek. |
