Fuel Pump problems

I've had my 97A4 in the shop twice for fuel pump replacement. Now yesterday driving home from work the car quit running again. Had it towed to the local dealer that has replaced the fuel pumps.

This time he reports back that the fuse was blown to the fuel pump?? What might be causing this problem?? Any ideal??

do you trust that shop? well atleast its just a fuse which is probably caused by a bad install

No, I do NOT trust the shop. I talked with another service manager today about the fuel pump problem. I'll find out more about how the other shop is going to handle this problem. I'll give them a chance to troubleshoot the problem.....

Then I'll make a call to Audi USA for help.
