got my Vortrag CF vented hood
 

it is the version with the structure still in it and weighs in at 13 lbs. I am going to throw it on for a test fit and take a few pix. Also getting hood pins to make sure this thing stays on my car. I got it from a fellow audi worlder who got rid of his A4.

It will end up getting painted.

I was contemplating it, but it is not in that great of shape. These hoods were made for race cars anyway, so the molds were not the best quality.

Ya? Well either way, you just gained 45 cool pts in my book for painting it. :-)

and then Vortrag folded a few years back. I got lucky and found one that was neverintalled. I am one happy camper either way!
