Had my A4 on a rolling road today!
 

I was on a 4 wheel rolling road today, and after having my car fully serviced i got it lashed down and tested!

heres what i got:-

156BHP @ 5500 RPM (Should be 150BHP @ 5500)
164 lb ft @ 3870 RPM (Should be 162 @ 3500)

Not too bad for a 95,000 Miler car!

There we have it folks. V6 chip/exhaust/intake = 6hp

At the wheels,remember. He also has a 2.6 V6.

No - i don't actually have any mods on the car - thats all PLANNED stuff.

its completely standard

read again...those were planned mods.

Yeah - i asked the guy about chipping the 12 valver and he said that he can get around 12-15 BHP by remapping the chip, if i also got an intake + new exhaust that would add around 6 also - making a grand total of -


156 + 15 + 6 = 177 BHP, which is not too bad for just some easy mods.

Wait, doesn't the 2.6 have 150HP at the crank?
 

If this number were at the wheels, then it would have 187 at the crank (25% loss).
