has anyone ever dismantled their fastlane/ez pass/Mark IV/i-pass before? or have
pictures to some, or know anything about them? Mostly looking for info regarding the batteries as well as if I could mod it and hide it in my rear view mirror

No batteries, RF reflectors.I painted one black, above the rearview.Another I leave it in the parcel
shelf. The black on one behind my woman's rearview is not noticable and the one in my car I could cover with a baseball hat or whatever, but I just leave it there.

After much testing and repositioning, mine is located behind the MMI like the picture in the original post in the black casing as shown. I check my EP every week and have no issues. It's not even velcroed as is stays in position on it's own leaning up against the back of the MMI. I don't even know it's there.
