Headlight problems...(arghhhhhh!)

This all starts out this morning when I notice that my passenger side headlight is a bit low, and I decide to adjust things a bit.

So I make some time at lunch and find a nice dark spot in the parking deck and proceed to set up my marks on a wall to adjust the the lights. (I've got E-Codes, two-piece, old-style).

I begin turning the vertical adjustment screw and suddenly there is a loud "pop". My headlight is now pointing into the ground about 10 feet in front of the car! Turning the screw further does no good. Sigh...

Does anyone know if there is any way inside a headlight unit to see if something like this can be fixed? Do you think anyone will sell me just one headlight? (I got these originally from Todd @ AWE.)

sounds like the shipping plug thingy that holds the

inside straight and tight popped out when you were adjusting. It's hard to describe how to get it back into place. But I think you could easily figure it out if you took out the housing.
