Default Headlight question

On the edge of light (where light meets darkness), what is the rectangle pattern (shadow) on the edge of light (driver side)? It's more noticable when turning. Dealer aimed, but it's still there. Strange, I don't see anything obstructing, which would cause a shadow.

The stepped view (up to the right) is so that you don't blind oncoming drivers. It's normal.

Default I don't think its a shadow, I think that's the pattern of the projectors.

There's a restrictor plate or something in the light housing that causing the pattern to take on a step-wise look. Pull up close to a garage door or wall and you'll see what I'm talking about. It will look like this:
........._____........._____
_____*........_____*

Where the asterisks represent where each headlight is pointing, and the lines represent the beam cutoffs. This is perfectly normal, as long as the left side cut off of the left headlamp is level with the left side cut off of the right headlamp.

EDIT: Okay, ignore the "...." in the diagram above...they were place holders in order for the diagram to come out the way I intended.

Default Here's a pic of a normal headlight pattern. (Albeit a bit different cause I've got Euros and HIDs)

Default It does that to me too... if you notice it will only allow one space between characters...

Probably some sort of flood control measure. I was trying to draw the exact same pattern a couple weeks ago and ran into the same problem.
