Heater core swap reinstall leftover nuts?
Hi All
Longshot question here. Two leftover nuts I can’t find a home for, if anyone recognizes them that would be appreciated
Leftover Nuts Heater Core Swap
just finished a heater core swap on my 98 2.8 30v Quattro 5sp manual, not easy, center console/radio removal the most time consuming and frustrating
anyways pls see picture of leftover 10mm and 13mm nuts I can’t find a home for

Mystery solved
Two sets of nuts, one below the plate, one above the plate
Missing nuts installed below the plate
Nuts above the plate
These belong below the shifter securing plate
These were perhaps unnecessarily removed in an attempt to gain a little bit of additional Clearance when trying to remove the heater core
dash Assembly needed to be shifted rearward to gain vertical clearance between the heater core in the windshield so as to remove the heater core
see attached pictures
