Default How's your coolant level?

Also, check your mixture. If you provide us with any history, incl. how long it's been doing this, we'll do our best to help.

Temp gauges are fine, just had timing belt, thermostat and water pump done I thought this would fix the problem but it did not.

Default Changing the ECT should not have anything to do with how much heat it makes...

did they bleed it and get heat at the dash? I'd try to burp it again.. get it good and hot, then CAREFULLY open the tank cap.. that will force (hopefully) the air out of the system.
