My first Audi - An ongoing project
Hey guys
Long time lurker, and finally picked up an Audi.
I've been looking for around 6 months for a clean Audi...Allroad, B5 A4, C5 A6, anything really...and have gone to see around 15 cars in that time frame...all of which were complete junk. I finally came across this A4 that the previous owner had bought from a dealer and never drove it...
It's a 2001 A4 1.8T Quattro in silver with black interior. Currently says it has ~113k miles.

Alright guys so today me and my dad made up a custom snub mount bracket for my car. It's sort of like 034's mount except I did something different:
In the shop!
The mount splits in two parts so that it is very easily installed and removed.
At the end of the day...car finally sitting outside after being in the garage for a week!
Also installed a new 2.0T coil which solved the misfire problem (thanks Mitch! [])

P.S. This is also posted in the Member's Bio forum...but that forum gets no attention so I figured it would be OK to post it here as well!

So the madness beings...(painting fenders, hood)
Update: June 17th, 2012
Well sandblasted the fenders + hood today and did some primering.
Oh, and also ordered an eBay RS4 grill [drool]
Update: June 27th, 2012
Air filter, SAIP 90 degree hose, and other 3 2.0T coils installed.
Almost there...
Update: July 3rd, 2012
Thanks guys.
Well, painted it today...color match isn't great on one side of the car...I think it's because one side of the car was painted previously by a P.O. and the other side wasn't...
The blend on this side isn't great...
This side looks pretty damn good!
