Help....boost issues

Anyone know how to locate an air leak in the turbo system on a 1.8t? I've looked and listened but I can't find anything. The problem is when chipped I can't get past 12lbs of boost. I used to get 15-16. With the stock ECU things perform normal so it's not a wastegate or turbo problem. Any suggestions on how to find the leak or a local *experienced* shop that could, around Hartford.

just to share, my first boostgauge install had a very audible leak but still took me past 15psi

you can take it in or check yourself, try taking one end of the vacuum line and

pressurize it with a bike pump or something. maybe you can detect the leak that way when everything else is quiet. just a thought, not sure if i will be detectable in your case.
