HELP!! D2S Headlight Retrofit Adjustment
Hey Guys,
Heres the deal, hopefully someone has some insight for me. I got a killer deal on D2S HID headlight assemblies from a guys on CL. They are off a 2001 S4, and I retrofitted them onto my 1999 a4. They have the internal auto-levelers, which I dont have the hardware for. Put them in today, pretty easy, but I cant adjust them! The two white screws adjust the high-beams great, but seem to have no effect on the lowbeams/HIDs. They are pointed at the ground and I can barely see while driving at night. It sucks because I was expecting a significant improvement over the stock halogens. I don't care about auto levels, I just want to manually adjust them. Do I need to remove the auto levelers? Has anybody ran into this before? I have Google searched for the last three hours with no help...... Heres a picture of them on though my windshield, they should be pointed up more! (unless I'm wrong?) |
You need the auto-leveling hardware.
In any case, even when the projectors are pointing down, you can manually raise them via the screws, but it will point your high beams into the sky. |
