Help: Handling Problems
I own a '00 Audi A4 1.8T w/ Quattro and have 18" chrome aluminum rims wrapped w/ 225/40ZR18 Avon Tech M500.
Problem I am having is when it's raining I'm loosing handling w/ the car. My rear end feels like it's coming loose. It's the weirdest feeling. I checked my tires and there inflated to 32 PSI. It happens when I get up to 40 MPH. Doesn't happen when it's dry outside. Is something wrong w/ my traction control? It did it last time it rained, but didn't think nothing of it the next day when it didn't do it, of course it wasn't raining.
Also, my turning signal stopped working. When I push the lever down it don't make the noise. I use to be able to flick the lever manually and it would do it 3x. Now nothing.
Iam going to go reset my computer w/ VagCom. I did do a search and found no other post. I appreciate your help!!

As for the turn signals it sounds as though you need a new hazard relay. It's built into the emergency flasher at the center of your dashboard.
Have fun !

I would start with what Audiboy mentioned...check the alignment. Odds are it's far enough out to cause very premature tire wear, so it may not just be a wet handling issue, it might be costing him money every mile he drives.
Bringing Audi to Life for Audi Fans
His tire pressure (32 psi) could be a bit low, his treads could be a bit worn, and he could be pushing the car a little harder than the average Honda Fit owner. Who really knows ?
