HELP! I Need Window Regulator Clips
I am trying to find the little plastic clips that attach the door window glass to the cable on the window regulator. I would be happy to buy somebody's old (even broken) window regulator, if the clips are good. I'm getting pretty desperate here, I don't want to shell out over $100 for a whole new regulator just to get those stupid plastic clips! Can anybody help me out? Email me at CEEANTON at BELLSOUTH dot NET
Thanks!!!!!
Thanks!!!!!

Well..
I have an extra brand new window regulator. BUT I removed 1 green plastic clip from it.
If you have a picture of the clip you need, I'll check. Perhaps you two could split up the regulator.

Re: Well..
ooo, ooo, that will work! I can re-use one of the clips I have. The other is broken into multiple and missing pieces. So, I can really get away with acquiring one. What do you want for the lone clip?

P.S. I don't have a picture of it, but I can get one if necessary. I doubt the clips are any different, though. I have a 97 A4 2.8 Quattro. The clips are probably the same (or close enough that I can MAKE 'em work), even across model years. The part itself is kind of a lime green with a slot for the metal window bracket to slide in horizontally and a slot for the cable to slide in vertically.

Missing clip
The regulator I have is the driver's side.
Here's a picture of a similar regulator. The piece that's missing from my extra one is circled.

Re: Missing clip
I am assuming that the driver's side and passenger's side clips are the same, although I haven't compared them. I can't really tell from the picture if the front and rear clips are the same. I will check my clips at home tonight and see which one I have and which one is broken.

Re: Missing clip
Okay, maybe I do need both. I can't get a really clear view on the picture, but it looks like there might be a little piece missing from the one clip I have. Sigh. Wel, anyway, how much do you want for the one? I can beg, borrow or steal to get the other one.

Re: HELP! I Need Window Regulator Clips
Does anyone else have an regulator lying around (even an old broken one) that they might be able to spare the clips from?
Thanks!
