I'm not cheap, just poor. I am looking at A-4
Quattros, all I see on Autotrader is 99's for
close to 18K. If I wait until Spring can I save
some money? Thank you

yes and no
 

spring = cars get more pricey because they are in more demand.
winter = quattro..so the price will hold firm because people want AWD for the snow.

it depends on location. definetly get something that has all the service records. i bought my 1997 with all the options (1 owner / all paperwork) from a dealer. sure it has almost 90k on the clock, but i paid $11k for it and have *NO* car payments. plus the car is in brilliant condition.

i paid 12,300 for my 97 1.8t quattro with 76k on it...great condition

or just make sure you have enough loot for maintenance

I just saw a 99 with 55K for 15K in a private deal. If your cheap don't buy an Audi

But, I haven't had to pay out any money for my car since it was a certified used car. If it wasn't certified i would be in debt. When it's not under warrenty anymore I should have a good job by then.
