Hi guys. My reverse lights are not working and I would like to fix this on my own ($300 quote from the mechanic, they seemed to think replacing the switch would fix the issue); however, I am having a hard time finding enough information on how to do this. I've located an aftermarket switch online, but I just want to be sure that replacing the switch entirely will solve my problem. The reverse lamp fuse in the drivers side box is ok. What is the best way to troubleshoot this? Can anyone link a step by step guide on how to troubleshoot this? How confident are you that replacing the switch will fix the issue? I want to tackle this myself but just don't quite know enough about this process to confidently do it myself. Any help would be appreciated!
