I think he was concerned about what to do until he gets a new part.

My worst educated guess is the check valve prevents boost from leaking into the vac system. So, leaving it disconnected would result in a small boost leak at the throttle body, cured by driving the car like a granny until that valve is replaced. Honestly, that's just a guess, and I'm sure there is more than one repercussion out there. I would probably drive the car, and if it seems to do okay, limp it around until you can fix it.

Digit@lex's idea with the JB Weld is the cheapest way to fix it. Just gotta be careful that you don't plug up the hole in the nipple when you're doing the repair.

Put small coffee stirrer type cocktail straw into fitting before JB weld...

leaving a gap smear epoxy around fitting,then push together ,straw will be glued as a liner into fitting and keep passage open.And shouldn't melt because its made for hot coffee,etc.Cut off excess and install hose after epoxy hardens.

relax. I think your problem is the lack of proper grammar in your post. I say this with respect, really. Clean it up and make it more legible or accept the **** from others. If english is not you first language that's fine... but let us know up front and everyone will go easier on you.

Maybe we're a little harsh here, but just about any of the old-timers here are NOT little rich kids with daddy's money. It's really short sighted of you to think that. Hell, many of us are probably old enough to be your daddy?
