Help with removing trunk liner (checked FAQs)
I am diving into installing my Nokia 6120 into my A4... but I have one thing holding me up. I have a 98 1.8T and I can't figure out how to remove the round clips holding the trunk liner in. They are not like a clip I've seen before... they have three holes in them. Any clue how to remove them? Is a special tool needed? Thanks!

if they are the ones i think they are, they just unscrew . .
basically they are big plastic screws. So use your thumb and turn counter clockwise, and they should come undone.

1996 a4 2.8 qm (12v)
with no trunk liner (anywere). --working on my stereo
Re: Help with removing trunk liner (checked FAQs)
The three-hole fasteners unscrew: I made a tool by driving three small brads into the end of a 1/2" dowel. These devices are necessary in order for the A4 to comply with standard German engineering practice (Warum einfach, wen compliziert ist moglich).
