Hidden Graphic EQ in Symphony - settings
I've found the following setting works well with a ride range of music:
6758 (front) 9575 (rear) There is a logic behind this setting rather than just guessing. 2001A4 Silver1.8TQMCX |
Is it broken down into front & rear?
I thought it was an 8-band eq for the whol thing...
|
Is that setting base high in the rear and less in the front?
|
the first 4 digits are fron, the second 4 digits are rear.
|
Here's how it works..
bass, mid-bass, mid-highs, highs, bass, mid-bass, mid-highs, highs. First four for the fronts, second four for the rears.
It's better this way because the rears give a fuller bass. The sound from the fronts is more directional, so you don't want to be clouding the detail with lower frequencies in the front speakers. Too bad for rear seat passengers, but other than pigmys, the A/S4 wasn't really made with rear seat passengers in mind. |
Someone said it was FFFFRRRR, with the breakdown being
Front left bass
Front right bass front left treble front right treble, repeat sequence for rear |
