Why did Audi dump the bi-turbos? Any ideas, theories?

Default That, and the use of conventional oil during that time period didn't help things.

Notice how they still have 4 cyl turbo cars, running on synthetic oil.

the 135 has a 3.0L turbo engine, not a 3.5

Default I'm wrong. I was misled by the model codes once again...There was a time when the model numbers

did correspond to the engine size or was close enough. (Or it did happen in a few models...)
