Default Hood shock dead. Anyone have a source for replacement hood shock? Seems like...

local parts stores don't carry it. Does anyone know of an aftermarket one that fits?

Otherwise, I'll try ECS/Clair I guess to see what the part goes for.

Last week my hood opened fine, today it's like there's no shock in there at all

Default yeah, I was thinking about all those CF hoods as I used a broom handle tonight

I figured there's prob a bunch of cars with them removed that are just laying in a garage or basement for me

Default Yup!

Don't really see any reason to shell out money for a new one...they rarely fail, so used should do fine.

Default Thanks - here it is - However it states "2 required per vehicle"

None of our cars have 2 for the hood, right???<ul><li><a href="http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi/?html=learnmore.html&amp;productID=1759">http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi/?html=learnmore.html&amp;productID=1759</a</li></ul>
