How can i hook up an ipod touch to my audi?
i have a 2000 Audi a4 1.8L quatro with bose symphany 1 this one:

and i want to hook up my ipod touch to it but i do not want to use a cassette tape adapter or a fm transmitter, i have heard of people hooking something up to the cd changer to make it work but i have not found any tutorials or anywhere to purchase that parts from so if you have any detail please respond

The Audi adapter is expensive and not that great. The other (3) are pretty decent.
The Blitzsafe will work with your itouch, use the newer cable. You use the controls on the ipod to change tracks. $60-80 .
The GROM offers the same functionality as the Blitzsafe, but you can select a mode that allows you to control tracks (via playlists) from the symphony.$80-100.
Same as GROM but has several modes selectable at the time of install.$100+
All of them are very easy to install (less than an hour). They use the CD changer socket on the back of the stereo.Plug I.
I have a Blitzsafe in our A4 and a GROM in our TT.

The Audi adapter is expensive and not that great. The other (3) are pretty decent.

I have bought from them. You can also find them on E-bay, but be careful there are units with the older style cables that don't charge the iPod Touch or iPhone.
You will need a set of (4) radio keys to remove the symphony.
