<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/mymuffsmalldtm.jpg"></center><p>I have a straight pipe from the cat to the muffler....i took out the stock muffler and premuffler/resognator....and its kinda too loud...i mean you can hear me down the block! Don't get me wrong its not a ricey sound its rather nice but very loud! the performance is excellent but what can i do to quiet it a little (just a little, i don't want it silent) but not restrict air or hurt the performance? thanks in advance... By the way this is a pic of my exhaust tips.

I have a similar set up, same muffler as u. I had the exhaust shop weld in a straight through type resonator. It is about 18" long and is in the same spot at the old resonator was.

Your right, it is f'n loud. I tried it without the resonator at first. I only lasted about 15 minutes before adding the resonator. it helps alot, makes it a little more mellow.
