CD changer questions...

CD changer questions...
So no progress on gettin the 8-pin changer to work for me... but I have some questions. (btw the 8-pin is in the 96-97 A4 w/ Bose)
Will the CD changer out of a Euro Audi work with US spec? same part number...
Are the mounting points also used as a ground on the changer?
Where are the mounting points on the changer? (Which screws on the side?)
Does anyone have a diagram of the wires going in and out of the plug?
What does CD00 ERR mean? (There isn't a cd stuck. The cd magazine will MANUALLY eject, but will not AUTOMATICALLY eject.)
