How you wash your car after a snow storm? Please advise. Should I go to a machine car wash place?

Please don't do it....
I've done this and unless the carwash is a pressure wash where NO equipment touches your car, you'll regret taking it. I took mine to a brushless wash after all the ice/snow in Philly area last month, and noted the car was clean, but had fine circular scratches in the wheels from the rotating brush they use, and scuffs on the hood, top, and trunk from the dryer which courses over the car at the end of the wash. My advice, wait for a "warm" day and go to one of those stalls where you have access to high pressure hose, and bring a lambswool mit and do it yourself. You'll be pleased with the result.
