Default I DID IT!!!!

K well i had a dilema, my light went out on my fan speed, well tonight my temp one went out too. So pretty much at night i couldnt tell what i had set for temperature or the fan speed. And well i decided to stay home to fix it since i didn't want to spend 600$ on a new one. Well now i have it out and i have the lights,(the two little blobs in the picture) what next? do you think the dealer just sells the lights? Thanks, if you have the same problem email me. Ill tell you how to do it. ITS SIMPLE!

they're like 1/4" deep, they're really really small, they attach in a certain way though. do you think the dealer just sells the lights?

These bulbs were meant to be serviceable, thus they dealership should sell them to you.

Default You just unscrewed the bulbs from the back of the faceplate correct? You didn't actually open up

the climate control? Just checking. Any non serviceable bulbs will be soldered into the circuit board, so the fact that you were able to remove the old ones, tells me that they are servicable. I know the climate control for 97 has servicable bulbs.

Good luck. I hope you know your dealership's parts guy well, because you may have to do some convincing to get the dealership to sell them to you.

They look exactly the same just different base color. So they're dash bulbs?

Default these bulbs are the ones found behind your dash...

under the bulb holder is a slot for screw driver, and usually orange. what color is the base on yours? if you really have time on your hands, check the ones behind the, very easy, but can't find the write up. its the write up for changing gauge faces for the vdo gauges. if they're the same bulbs, dealer sells them. i paid around CAN$5 or so each.
