I have so many Audi owners experience some type of Timing Belt failure on 1.8; but I am not sure w/ 2.8; If anyone knows, would you please share?! thanks

i waited till 91k to do mine,
but then again i had no symptoms of TB failure, e.g. leaky water pump. most ppl will tell you to do it. but my audi mechanic told me that cars come in with 110k to do their first timing belt job. its up to you, its just a higher risk the longer you wait.

I am going to do mine at 80K
I plan on doing the water pump, belt.... and all the bits that go with it.
While I am in there I will start looking for mounting points for a centrifugal supercharger, probably a paxton. I am still miffed that the 30v intake manifold doesnt fit my 12v heads.
Oh well, nobody loves me.

Changed my 30V with 48K...
Looking at the old parts showed no signs of wear or tear but wasn't going to chance it.
