it is wonderful. the cradle is nice, the radio mutes and the display says PHONE(on the dash and the radio). When you end the call the radio slowly resumes volume at the same level you had it at before. Also the you didnt have to make any of those boxes that other AW members have talked about to wire it into your Audi.

more details please.. we, and I'm sure ed/james would really like to know
 

how is this thing connected into the car? As much info as you have would be greatly appreciated by all.

Does it rely on the mic in the phone, does it integrate into the mics in the car?

how did you do that? where can i get the kit? do you have pix?

yeah it integrates well, just like its factory and....
 

the microphone is from the Nokia kit is used. what he did was just unplug the factory, he did not remove it, it is still up in the headliner near the sunroof knob, just put it aside. then he removed the case around the factory on and replaced it with the kit one. it sounds great, the only thing i need to get is a glass mount cellular antenna.

yeah, that way will work too, the wires lead right to the back of the radio

Nokia does not make a complete car kit for the 8200 series...
 

they only made the compact car kit that has the speaker, charger and external mic and it is portable. how did you integrate it to work with the muting of your radio and integrate with your car speakers? i know the power thing is not an issue.... just how you converted the built-in speaker to connect to your existing car speakers and where did you run wires and stuff....
