I was moving at 40mph, and i shifted to N and bak to D while i was still moving.is this bad? (tip)

i did this on accident. i was moving at 40 mph. and i accidentally thought i was in tiptronic mode and shifted up to neutral, and i shifted bak to D while i was still moving at 40mph. im worried. will this hurt my transmission in any way? i have tiptronic by the way (1.8t).

did that plenty of times, don't think it's bad if you at a good or matched RPM. or of the gas..

I had done this quite a few times. Don't make it a habit!

I think it's what caused my flex plate (basically the equivalent of a fly wheel) to go out. And believe me, you DO NOT want that to happen. The part isn't that expensive, but 13 hours of labor, ugh.
