Hi, i recently did a coil conversion kit & icm delete(plug and play) because i was having missfires. After doing the conversion kit, i took it for a text drive and after a few high revs and geting back to the parking lot, the car shut off. It cranked but wouldnt stay on unless i throttled it. I decided to do a throttle bottle cleaning becuase it was rough idleing when i would try to turn it back on. Unfortunately i didnt know i would have to do an adaptation. I took it to mechanic and they were able to do the vagcom adaptation but that didnt solve the issue. Now it doesn throw codes and it starts, idles for a second or so then shuts off. It does stay on if i throttle but it sounds like its clogged or something. Im at a dead end and dont know what do to. Thank you

When was the fuel pump replaced?

Im not sure tbh, it was sitting in a truck lot for a year or so, and then i got it back on the road and it was driving fine for a few months, until i let it sit again for a couple of months

What was the reason for the coil change? Did the problem begin after this change? Do you have the old parts?

i did the coil change because i already have two pairs of fsi coils.So i just got the conversion kit. Which fixed the missfire issue i had. The problem began after i took it for a test drive and and i slowed down, it shut off on me. Before the test drive, i was revving it and everything and it didnt shut off. I do still have the old parts, but when i re installed them, the car just cranks. but it might be because i re installed the old coils but not the icm(cuz my cousin tossed it like a dummy)

Just trying to figure out if the new coil setup caused a new problem or just changed the character of a previous problem. Or if you just now have a new problem.

The new coil setup is the plug and play from ecs tunning. It came with new spark plugs and everything, the only thing that i already had where the coils
