I require items two:

Item number one we shall call a roof rack. Said roof rack will need to carry three BMX race bikes on roof of a car.

I would prefer used, but will buy new if I have to. Anyone know a good place to edumacate myself?

The second item we shall call a high flow cat for a Tip car.

Anyone make such a thing?

Im sure that Thule has bike atatchments.

the ammount you can fit on the car is based on how industrious you are at packing them up there

Do I need both the test pipe and the downpipe?

rackwarehouse.com carries both Thule and Yak. With 48" crossbars you can fit up to 4 bikes

I've had to haul 4 bikes before on my Yak. We had to stagger them facing forward/rear/forward/rear to get them all to fit. You shouldn't have a prob with 3.
