Ignition switch problem
Did a search and my problem seems to be unique. Basically, the ignition fails to physically turn sometimes, as if the key that I have in there is the wrong one. If you keep playing with it, it finally gives, but it's been getting progressively worse. Then this morning, it turns perfectly as if nothing has happened. I can find no consistency of when it happens or how to get it working again. Also, none of the door chime/failure to set alarm problems seem to come up as others have described. Is there a libricant that I can use to test it first, and if I need to get it fixed (warranty expired), how much will it cost? I have a 98.5 A4QTS.
