increasing keyless remote for POST 99.5 B5's.. I have searched and only found tips for pre 99.5
 

I put in new batteries assuming that to be the issue... no luck, still only works from about 10 feet or closer. Anything else that can be done to improve the range on a 2000...?? Thanks

Need to remove the C-pillar pass side and relocate the attenna there

The antenna is IN the C-pillar NOW or needs to be moved TO the C-pillar??

I believe just relocate it a bit. ....

you have been quite helpfull, thank you, maybe locate in rear deck/shelf?? or c-pillar better??
 

And do you know how to remove the bolster (under c-pillar, once the seat is folded down) It seems it may be easier to remove bolster, grab the wire and pull it down, rather than try to get c-pillar off.
