installing corner lights
hey there, im new to audi world and very excited to be here! i just purchased some black corner lights for my 98 a4 2.8 quattro and want to install them. however i have no clue how to do so. could someone help me out with this. i am not very tech savy and was wondering if i should get them profesionaly installed instead of doin it myself. thanks alot

ok
pop hood
go to front right corner of engine bay (pick your favorite right)
find hole near fender tip on the radiator carrier, you will be using that hole to press down on a small plastic clip that is attached to the corner lamp. BEFORE DOING SO READ ON!
Use flashlight to find the white retaining clip that you will need to pull out in order to depress a plastic clip that actually retains the corner lamp.
Its VERY easy.

i also have a 98 a4 2.8 quattro. send some pics when u get em installed. i put just clear corners in. i want to see waht the smoked finished ones look like. ne who.. its really simple to install them. pop the hood, and start on the drivers side because it is easier to see what im tellin u. find out where the back of the corner light is first but just makin sure ur not touching the main headlight housing. if u look at ur new corner lights there is a little white tab that flips back and forth. this tab holds it in place. u simply flip the tab from the right to the left ( it could be opposite) and u have to bend the tab alittle bit to realease the clip. than the whole housing should simply slide right off. when puttin the new corner light on, make sure you line up all the grooves and locator pins or ur corner light will look lopsided and not look correct at all. this is def NOT worth gettin done by a professional. its very easy to do. it took about 5 minutes of my time. hope it helps.
