Look for a used one.
FMIC's generally do not wear, they are all made of strong tubing. Many people have been selling their cars lately.
I purchased my Greedspeed FMIC for $300 cash locally, so keep checking the classifieds.
Removing the drivers side fog lights would be a straight shot to the SMIC.
