Intermittent Boost Problem
I do have a VAG-COM so I'm sure if a spend a few hours I could figure out how to log things and then figure out what is happening, but I'm hoping I can get a quick answer from someone on the board.
While driving my boost will drop from the normal 11-12 down to 5 under WOT (GIAC chip). It normally happens at the lower RPMs (eg around 2000-2500). Once it happens it stays at 5 until the car is restarted and then it is back to full boost (I can even re-start the car while in motion and it is back to normal).
The front O2 sensor was replaced, the MAF was changed twice (once with a used off ebay - much worse, yellow engine light, the other was new and just put in two days ago - better, but it still happens).
Thoughts, suggestions? Thanks

It's your "L" hose for sure.
Reading your post is like dejavous. Low RPMs you floor it and goes into limp mode. Restart it while driving and back to normal boost. That was me a few months ago.
It's less than $20 and should take less than 10 minutes to replace. I think ModifiedA4 did a write up on it.
