I've got 2hours of free time and a magnet, is it worth it to attach the magnet to the oil filter?

Default I've got an audi with about 300,000 miles on it.......

if I put a magnet on it's oil filter, it might catch something I'm sure.

But on a newer european car with such tight tolerances in the engine, even with 100,000 miles, you'll probably not catch too much. Not worth it IMO. But hey, it couldn't hurt! ;-)
