Jingle?

I have this weird jingling noise coming from the front of the car whenever I hit bumps & stuff.

I already know I have a lower control arm problem on the driver's side, which is getting repaired on Wednesday. Any ideas what this new noise could be?

It sounds like someone dropping metal washers on a concrete floor.

Okay...

...the only thing that comes to mind is warped rotors. The sound you may be refering to may be due to the uneven contact of the surface b/w the pad and rotors amplified by the caliper. I could be wrong seeing that you only hear this over bumps and stuff. Then agian, it can be heard regardless if you use your brakes or not. I suggest that you have your rotors looked at as well. It may need resurfacing or replacing. Chances are, it just needs to be resurfaced. Sorry I couldn't be more of help.

Jingle Update....

I was told by my dealer that it was a lower guide link problem that made the jingle noise. So, they replaced it.

Now, with that, & the Control Arms fixed, my car is noise free!
