Default Just had my car towed to Audi, had engine vibration, loss of power, lots of vibration on the

throttle. Sound like Coilpack failure? if so how much does that run? Also have a knocking sound over potholes and bumps, think it is the upper control arms, does that sound right?

Default Search...

lots of info, and sources for the part via mail order. If you let the dealer do this one, they'll rape you, and you'll kick yourself when you eventually find out how easy it was to fix.

Default Extremely easy, part cost around $100 (brand Hugo or Beru)....

to replace also very easy, only two clips. Defintely DYI. Do not let dealer do it.

Default Plugs?

99 and earlier have issues with the ignition amplifier. 01 have issues with coilpacks. 00 was a vintage year...no plagues resulting in misfires...so if you got some, I would vag the car, isolate the cylinder, and do some detective work by swapping plugs, coilpacks, and injectors.
