keyless entry remote replacement
my remote control has seen a better day - its the old system with the separate remote and key (not the switchblade). The rubber buttons have completely fallen off. I would buy a new case but then the plastic buttons on the inside that press the metal contact have no fallen off too. All that's left is the contact on my lock button so it's definitely time for a new one. I can't find an old model remote on ebay but I figured somebody here would know where I can get one...
Also, has anybody ordered a blank switchblade key off of ebay and had it programmed and cut for a 97 model? Is is possible to do? Thanks!

It's possible to break the metal part out of your key, cut it to length, and saw an notch in it
and install it in a switchblade remote. Use the 'old' switchblade key as a pattern. There's a guy who advertises on audifans that sells remotes for about $20.
