ko4 problems
whats up people. i have been posting alot becuase i have been trying to figure out the problem, well no such luck. After the k04 was installed the turbo was sick. right when i put my foot on the gas i could hear the ****ing thing whistle and it would take off. well that is no more. i am running stock hoses with with 90,000miles on them however i dont think that i have a leak. a friend did a visial check and said they were ok, also on my boost guage it does not look like a have a vaccum leak. for some reason i am not hearing the turbo spool up loudly and as fast. also when i am on full throttle the cars power is just not there. i feel the turbo trying to work but i think the power is escaping. also i am having a somewhat hard time holding boost. i can do it but it is hard. does anyone have any ideas. i ordered a hi flow cat and it should be coming soon, also where can i get a samco hose kit..please help. is it the software going bad?(awe.giac) i dont know. thanks

what do you think about getting all new stock hoses? i was told that a new set is just as good as a samco hose kit. i have a forge bpv that i just threw in so i do not think that is the problem. i also think it is the hoses, i am not sure where to get a samco hose kit from. and by the way, your car is sick. how much exactly doe4s a stock a4 weigh. weight is the biggest deal in a car however if i start taking out the ac, i am going to sweat my nuts off during the day..lol

did you get the full k04 kit from giac or do you just have their programming?
have you driven other k04's? if so, how's it compare. I want new programming for mine, and giac is my first choice. how's your fuel economy? is the chip have a jerky ride or anything like that? you said you have a boost guage, what do you usually peak at? tia.

peak around 20's. i have the awe kit with giac programing. i loved it for 3 days. smooth as hell and the fuel sucks.i feel like i am driving my old v8 5.9 jeep

nah. i dont have a vag and i really have no idea how to do the **** u are telling me to do. i think the shop i went to hooked it up to a vag and they said it was all good
