Default Light bulbs problems

I'm driving a 2001 A4 1.8T for about 33 months. As today I had replaced 7 headlights (5 rights/2 lefts) and 3 fogs (2 rights/1 left) all under warranty.

Even if it cost me nothing...it's getting annoying. My car dealer (Autostrass in Montreal) agree that it's a lot but keep pretending it's because the Audi bulbs are very bad quality. I think it make no sense.

The car is gonna be out of warranty within a year and I'm scare to get stock with the problem then. IF it's really the Audi bulbs that are VERY bad, I will just replace them with "jobber", but if it's note the case...

Anybody aware of that problem or am I the only one?

Sounds like the way mine was. It's recommended that you change both bulbs at the same time.

Default both my lo-beams went at 55 Kmi,...

within 20 mi. of each other. then 1 lo-beam went at 115 Kmi. the car has 150 Kmi. on it now and has the original hi-beams and fogs. i think i'd check voltage regulator. see what volts the system is accually running.

Default My dealer once swapped my bulbs without telling me (EDIT)

They pulled a fast one on me. I had upgraded my my H7 and H1 bulbs to premium Osram bulbs, and when I got the car back, the dealer told me they'd replaced one H7 bulb, which supposedly was burnt out. When I checked the other bulbs a week later, I found out that all of them were now regular Philips bulbs! Bastards...

If you slam the hood a lot, or if you drive on dirt roads, vibration might contribute to premature bulb failure. Premium bulbs from Osram or Philips should last a few years with daily use. Audi uses regular Osram and Philips bulbs. Even those can be expected to last a couple years. I would always change them in pairs.

Default labor costs

Cost me nothing, car is under warranty.
Is that the only raison ? No technical raison ?

The fogs seem to burn out quicker for whatever reason...
