Loud whining sound between speeds of 55 and 65 2001 1.8Tqms...
I just purchased a 2001.5 1.8t Quattro, sports package w/ 17's. I have a loud whining sound between 55 and 65 mph comming from the front. Has anyone expierenced this? P6000's @/32 psi. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I would also guess its your turbo, because I have the same car.
I would also guess its your turbo, because I have the same car. My car has Sumitomo tires, but the only whining I have at that speed is the turbo. Its not loud, but noticable.

Not the Turbo...I'm not pressing down on the gas...
It has to be something with the tires...The steering whell does not shake and it is alligned perfectly...any other ideas...I know what the turbo sounds like by the way
