Lowered = scraping mud guards. Anyone have any known mods to the mud guards?
Lowered with the Eibach Pro Kit and scraped the front mud flaps over the first speed bumps I encountered. I had already removed the rears prior to lowering. Anyone done any kind of mods to prevent this. Who is selling the clear stuff covering the paint under the flaps. I am imaging that everyone who has lowered their cars either now have worn down flaps or had to remove them. Obviousely I can either take them off or let the ground work as a natural file.
Whaddya all suggest.
Also - as far as the lowering went - it took 5 hours for a professional to do it - had problems up front with the bolt not wanting to come out that holds the two upper arms - on both sides! - had to remove the arms from the engine bay. I definitely got my moneys worth on this one.

Some of us live in areas where guards are the lesser of evils. Rock chips on the nose are bad enough
no need to add the Sta-Puffed Marshmellow Man Exploded Here mod. Mudguards are ugly but around here (chip sealed secondary roads) on a dark car, with the intelligent use of that white primer ...
