with a MBC can you actually limit the boost or just control boost spikes ?

btw, do you have overboost issues at part throttle?
like say you're driving at part throttle, relatively low rpms (between 2k-3k) medium load, do you have boost going to like 10-15-20psi and then fluttering and dropping of boost?
i had that annoying issue when i had the mbc in parallel but now with the boost machine i can adjust this boost onset but i'm still playing with it.

yep, sorry for being vague... here's the scoop.
I have the forge MBC from ECS. I ran it parallel with the stock n75 still(meaning one that came with the car, haven't gotten the updated one yet). With this one, you do the opposite, + boost equals more bleed, less boost and the - boost = less bleed and more boost signal to and from the n75/wg. I didn't realize that at first and kept opening it, the max reduction was 10 psi. The spikes are easily controlled this way but I have a feeling that the best MBS to get are the ball/spring kind like in that pic floating around.
