MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!!!!! and...My A4 is a Pearl BLOCK OF ICE!!!!!
 

Came outside this morning, cuz the roads looked kinda icy (wanted to go have some fun in this big open area by my house..), and found my A4 to be about a 1/2" bigger in all dimensions!<p>There are icices going from the fender to the tire, spoiler to ground, etc, etc.. I couldn't even get my door open.. The heated door locks work, though!<p>I was gonna take a picture, but alas, no film in the camera, and no way to go get film! I'm in the same boat Rich. With the icy roads, I figure i'll. let my baby sit and use my old beater Honda. Even if Quattro makes winter fun, you can't account for the other guy who could mutilate my car while I'm still bonding!<br>

Mine looks like a frozen silver dirt ball........
 

I drove from raleigh to my parents place in VA on wednesday in the freezing rain/sleet/snow...needless to say my car accumulated some nasty sand and salt from the roads...<p>My parents keep wondering if i'm insane because i want to go out and wash my car in sub freezing temps!!<p>i was on an old back road in VA that was heavily sanded, but there were still some areas covered by snow...i was going slow enough to shift down to second and have a little fun with the quattro..<p>Happy Holidays!!<p>David White<br>98 2.8qm...used to be silver
