When cold

I only had a squeak when temps here in So. Cal were unusually cold. It seem to come from the stick shift itself.<p>My clutch never squeaked.

I've been reading the archives and it seems that I probably need a new clutch master cylinder and some work on the shifter as well

Have you checked to see if it's the vinyl boot around the shifter that is rubbing and causing the squeek? It does on mine. (No squeeking clutch here)<p>Dale
