My climate control won't work after i just installed a new head unit? any ideas???

Default there isnt anything too basic about running two amps and dvd player.
I mean i think there is a wire in the stock unit that connects to the climate control but i am not using any wiring harnesses.

Default I think he's telling you to run the Basic Settings function in Vag Com (or equiv)
Running Basic Settings sets some parameters and that will likely 'tell' the system the hvac is there.

sorry ... thought you said a head unit for the air conditioning
check the connections behind the a/c unit
